Thank you sooo much for doing this story. Brought a tear to my eye. I’m a single black gay dad via surrogacy and it feels good to see and hear about a family with similar experiences as me. Sometimes, it’s weird to walk into an area with my daughter, grocery or airport, and it’s like I’m a unicorn walking in the room. It’s usually a positive reaction but I know it’s coming from an unfortunate, stereotypical place. At the end of the day, my baby girl is my everything and I consider myself beyond blessed to be her dad.
